Legacy Verbatim / Cardmirror Compatibility — editor keyboard shortcuts
Documents CardMirror's native Verbatim-parity keyboard shortcuts (the
editor behind /reason-editor), which make the originally-planned
Mod-Shift-* shortcut set redundant.
- Route: any CardMirror document (e.g.
/reason-editor) - Package:
debate-editor
Shortcuts
| Shortcut | Command |
|---|---|
F10 | Apply Emphasis |
F8 | Apply Cite |
F9 / Mod-u | Toggle Underline |
F3 family | Condense variants |
Mod-Alt-ArrowUp/Down | Move card/section |
Alt-F8 | Copy previous cite |
Mod-Shift-k | Insert short cite tag |
Mod-Shift-x | AI-format a citation |
Every binding is user-remappable in CardMirror's keybindings editor. The shortcuts reference has Print and Export actions, and a one-time onboarding nudge points a Verbatim-trained user at it. Print and Export both scope to an active search — typing into the reference's search box before printing or exporting narrows the output to the matching rows, the same way it narrows the on-screen list.
