Projecting Mindsets Through Fiat Is Not a Solution Mechanism
- Instead of advancing the cause of the preferred field of scholars towards the most useful quotes for synergistic intersections, debaters find something interesting to include and tokenize quotes to falsely construct opposition between fields between compartmentalized issues. That radically narrows the community's ideological considerations and allows judges to “fiat” trillions a day to nuclear power or to rejecting racism and global capitalism. In the real world, the judge is the conservative mainstream to persuade choice among solutions to the resolutional question. Debate fell into a logic fallacy when it tried to make an alternative mindset have an equivalent to “fiat” of a supposed solution. We cannot pretend that changing our mindsets is like “fiat” projected to solve the root of the issues instead of a solution. Critical theorists write in the abstract to a niche audience to learn when to apply it. Most authors write knowing that society will have competing mindsets, and would not want followers to reject mainstream news as impure, but rather to rethink through an assumptive blindness. Students should not have to contrive and seek extreme authors for rejection, just because many participants find philosophy interesting. We can include ethical and systemic questions as literature base circles within the topic paper, much like a House committee would consider many solutions and main question areas of the literature. Choosing between endorsing two affirmative visions ontologically violates calling this switch-side debate. Modern debate is not “switch-side debate” on one issue viewpoint, as anti-capitalists do not roleplay Republicans next round. Debate is the synergy of peer-to-peer curriculum, competing solutions, and persuasive comparison. Teaching to change the topic to what seems more interesting to the judge is common for manipulative politicians, but no scholar would consider it a debate on that issue as answered. Students should not be mis-taught that changing the topic to a deeper one suffices in a real world issue consideration. Policy debates will happen in society regardless, with critiques ignored as they fail specific relevancy of how they change supported outcomes. Better ways given up and ethical objections are types of dissuasive costs weighed in synergy with all. Teams cannot reframe voting negative as endorsing a grand vision – or else affirmative should claim voting for the case comes with a free lunch. Saying a judge should see voting so this critique wins every round as "rejecting capitalism" is like a coupon to go buy Che Guevara t-shirts.

Figure 9: Valid policy fiat implements action, while mindset fiat leads to solipsistic echo chambers.
- Vote affirmative to reject manipulation by logic fallacy so they do not walk away with that mindset of delay tactics infecting fellow activists on other issues into cynicism by avoiding discussing details. Critics think they can strawperson us to defend any of society's mindsets and flip the affirmative to defend the status quo “got 99 problems, but the case is never won.” They get around this by claiming affirmative calls for change should have to defend the system's deeper flaws as reforms sustain the system as the root of hundreds of impacts that outweigh. Their contradictory framework eats its own tail because it precludes topic discussions where their authors would want to compare sides to persuade coalitions. A critique reading popular ethics quotes is like sharing a vegan salad and beats any plan that doesn't happen anyways so it is undebatable that we can leave the round more ethical on a broader issue and then when we become policy advocates we will pass similar plans better. The judge can have the vegan salad, and eat it too, as the alternative captures the plan and better alternatives. Their framework teaches that participation in a system is endorsement of it, which converts a judgment about arguments into a judgment about persons. Once a debater can be indicted for the mindset their evidence is presumed to carry, the round stops testing claims and starts sorting speakers. We'll inevitably learn many other issues, but we're uniquely here to compare analysis to find publicly persuasive quotes. Someone could manipulate poor people to reject listening to a government's disaster relief as it is from a secular or capitalist mindset, which precludes adopting the right ethic instead and overall purity outweighs helping support ending ongoing suffering. Ideological elitists look for anything to object to, and in the name of tolerance conveniently exclude those with opposing views. Their essentialism is far worse as it leads to mindset prejudice outweighing, thus ignoring the risk of war and specifics.
